A White Christmas celebration to give a different feel to our usually hot christmas day in Australia!  White on white looks stunning and is so easy to create.  Adding silver or gold highlights to add a sense of richness to your theme.  If you don’t get to use all your expensive stemware during the year, then Christmas is definitely the time to polish the glasses, bring them out of the display cabinet and enjoy them with your family and friends!

White Christmas Slice Recipe

This White Christmas slice is just as delicious as it looks.

Time: 20 min prep, 2 hr chill

Serves: 20

Ingredients:

• 2 cups Rice Bubbles
• 1 cup desiccated coconut
• 1 cup mixed fruit
• 1/4 cup dried cranberries
• 1 cup each powdered milk and icing sugar mixture
• 250g melted and cooled vegetable shortening

Method:

1. Combine Rice Bubbles, desiccated coconut, mixed fruit, dried cranberries, powdered milk and icing sugar mixture and 250g melted and cooled vegetable shortening. Mix well and press into a 16x26cm oblong pan.
2. Chill to set, cut in squares. Refrigerate in an airtight container until required.
