This stylish punch table was created using a crisp satin edged table cloth and stylish silver candle votives. To keep the drinks table organised and looking chic, the use of the painted wooden trays lined with co-ordinating gift wrap paper is a great idea. The hanging mobile is an effective talking piece for the night and so easy to make at home (see DIY instructions below).

DIY – How to make the NYE Streamers! Courtesy of Martha Stewart.com
Leftover holiday paper gets a fresh start when used to make decorations for a New Year’s party. We used metallic paper to make streamers of shimmering circles that descend from above like the Times Square ball.
For a final bit of recycling, we grabbed small tart tins from the kitchen and used the shiny containers to hold tea lights.
Circle Streamers How-To
1. Spray pieces of card stock with spray adhesive on both sides; cover with wrapping paper.
2. Cut out graduated circles from wrapped card stock using an adjustable circle cutter (ours were 2 to 6 inches in diameter).
3. Punch a hole at the top and bottom of circles, except smallest one. For smallest circle, make a hole at top edge only. Connect circles using jump rings, placing largest circle at top and smallest at bottom. Repeat process to make more streamers. Use fishing line and a thumbtack to hang each streamer from ceiling.
…voila! you now have the designer look
