Giggle & Hoot inspired 1st Birthday Party

Boys 1st Birthday Party

Alexander s – Giggle and Hoot 1st Birthday Party

What a fun party theme idea for a child’s 1st Birthday. So many kids have fallen in love with the cute Hoot owl from ABC’s Giggle & Hoot and it is such an easy theme to use for a party. We are so excited to share this creative party submitted by a super talented Aussie mum. We thought you would love to be inspired to create something amazing for your child’s next birthday.

Get creative with this simple colour scheme of orange, blue and chocolate brown. You can co-ordinate your child’s party to look fresh and exciting with just a few printables. Have fun creating simple DIY cupcake toppers that really bring your adorable party to life. To get you started we have designed a range of Owl Printables which are available NOW and will help you create a similar look… Click here to see our Free Owl DIY Printables.

From creative, homemade party decorations to his very own Hoot Owl Cake from Cakestar, Alexander was all smiles and full of excitment seeing his favourite character on everything in site!

Dessert Bar

With some simple crafty elements, Alexander’s mum created the perfect party theme for her little boy.

Sweets & Treats

Alexander’s great grandfather gave him a very special gift. He had his engagement ring and one of his much loved dress rings combined and made into a ring for Alexander to wear in his adult years.  Such a sentimental present for Alexander, that will be cherished forever.

Amazing Cakestar Cake

Mmm yum, what a tough decision on what to choose from the dessert bar!  One of everything I think.  From the homemade Baklava, Italian Cannoli, Tiramisu or the Baked Cherry Cheescake, this dessert bar had every taste bud dancing! With a handful of printables and some DIY crafting you too can create a hoot of a party.

What a fun and delicious party!

Hi, I’m so excited to find this Hoot stuff, my daughter loves hoot, we want to have a hoot theme for her 1st birthday. Can you provide details of how i can get in contact with Marabous to get some prices. I noticed that this party was for a boy so there is a lot of brown. My party is for a girl, is it possible to have more orange than brown to suit a girl.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you

Love this party! I’m looking for supplies for my daughter’s birthday. Can you point me to the right direction?
    Thanks!

    • Marabous says:

Sure can! If you have a look at the end of the Giggle & Hoot post you will find all the suppliers of the professional items listed. Alexander’s mum created a lot of the Hoot custom artwork herself and did a great job. As she is not a professional party supplier and is not selling the items this post is purely for inspiration purposes. We can provide a hoot inspired range of invitations and cupcake toppers to help with creating your party! http://www.marabous.com.au/blog/?s=hoot&x=0&y=0

Feel free to email your details to admin@marabous.com.au

  25. Vinzei says:

  26. Vicki says:

How inspiring! What a brilliant effort! Alexander’s mum should sell the items she created – I’d buy them! I’m certain she’d make a small fortune!!! I have just begun planning my little girl’s ‘hoot’ themed first birthday party. Thanks for the cupcake toppers. I am also interested in the hoot inspired range of invitations. Can you please provide me with more details related to these? Also, do you know of a cake supplier in Sydney that produces ‘hoot’ cakes and/or ‘hoot’ cookies?

  27. Mai says:

I love your blog, it’s so useful and full of great ideas. I am planning my son’s 1st birthday party and was wondering if you knew of anyone who would make gigle and hoot related cupcakes or cookies based near Bankstown in Sydney’s South West area. Please any help and info would be appreciated! thanks
