Brett’s Wharf in Brisbane was the perfect choice of venue for Jennie & Nathan’s reception! Right on the water this venue is so romantic and the menu created was devine.
Jennie and Nathan were married in a quaint old catholic church at Kangaroo Point. A church which is special to Jennie as she has fond memories of going there with her late grandmother.

For the opening entertainment for the guests, Jennie and Nathan had organised a Sicilian style dancer to perform out on the terrace of Brett’s Wharf with a traditional accordian player to accompany her. As the dancer and musician performed the guests clapped them on eagerly with delight. The champagne was now being served along with delicious canapes.
The 3 tier Cake by Cakestar with a simple black and white theme was just what Jennie had wanted. Simple and Sophisticated was the theme that carried through the entire reception.

Simple rose bouquet centrepieces and crystal candle holders decorated the tables with Crystal perfume bottle favours for the ladies and Silver Pen favours for the gentlemen.
Guests were treated to an amazing chocolate fountain with a buffet of bite size fruit pieces and lavish amounts of marshmallows just waiting to be covered in the flowing Lindt chocolate!
As a gift for her new husband, Jennie sang a Nora Jones style song and played the viola, leaving Nathan with teary eyes, not ever hearing Jennie sing before. It was a truly romantic wedding with all the right elements to make the wedding day a dream day.
Congratulations!
