With all the latest Mario games out there and the variety of merchandise available, it makes organising a boys birthday party so easy. Here are some great ideas to get you partying with Mario in no time!

Hand painted plastic pipes made the perfect vessel for the colourful lollypops and cleverly spray painted glass bricks with question marks (?) were an awesome addition to the buffet table. For the games set up an obstacle course in the yard. Mario and Luigi are plumbers so set up some pipes…aka play tunnels and watch the kids pop in and out while they race their way around the course. Give the winners gold chocolate coins as their medals.
For lunch the kids can make their own Mario & Luigi Pizzas and while they are baking in the oven break out the WII!!! The perfect activity for this party is the wii Mario Kart, a great multi player game.
Everyone will love the Buffet set up with Mario themed lollies and desserts. If you are feeling extra creative you could label all your food with Mario themed names like Toadstool Muffins, Bowser Burgers, and Princess Peach Punch. Make some labels to wrap around water bottles and give every child a Mario, Luigi or Princess Peach hat to wear. Get the kids to hold up their chocolate moustaches and take some happy snaps for the album and to send out as thank you cards.

Print your “Game Over” sign and display it with your party boxes/bags for the guests to take home. Fill the boxes with gold coins and a Mario figurine and this will definately be the party of the year!
