We’re going bananas…for the Curious little monkey in this playful & modern carnival themed party submitted by Alecia of Boutique Affairs. This fun children’s party was created for Owen’s 2nd Birthday, a little boy who is obsessed with Curious George.
Alecia thought it would be great to incorporate the carnival theme into the party as Curious is always on an adventure. The colour palette for the table was bright yellow, red and blue.
The adventure started with a dessert buffet menu that included a complete Curious George theme. Abundant with everything from the trademark “yellow hats” and monkey faced cupcakes to vanilla bean cookies shaped as bananas and popcorn cups.
There was also Persian fairy floss, multi-coloured gumballs, miniature pop corn cups, chocolate bars with personalised wrappers, swizzle sticks and the list goes on. The centrepiece of the guest dessert buffet was an adorable character themed Curious George birthday cake under the big top canopy.
Everyone monkeyed around and had a swinging good time!

WOW!!! I LOVE this theme!!! It would actually go perfectly in the ‘Circus’ party room at the Geckos Family Fun Centre. I will keep this in mind for my next sons birthday party.
