This Wild West 5th Birthday party for a lucky little boy named William was sent to us by the fabulous Sharnel Dollar of Sharnel Dollar Designs. You can imagine all the children’s delight arriving at the Wild West Party greeted by a larger than life saloon bar lined with hay bales and cowboy props! The children knew they were in for a super fun Wild West party!
Who else but Sharnel to create such an extravagantly themed party! Sharnel made William’s cake herself and what a outstanding job she did! The design was inspired by creations from Sam’s cakes, then Sharnel added her own touches to the design to make it her own. William’s invitations where created by Anna from Invite with Style. The invitations certainly set the tone for a super fun cowboy party ahead. Yee-hah!!
The guests were greeted with mini choc milks of which they came back for seconds and thirds. Afternoon tea for the boys consisted of a range of cookies, muffins and whoopie pies as well as fresh fruit. There was also a cookie bar which was such a great idea.
There was plenty to keep the boys entertained including sack races, a hay bale treasure hunt with sheriff badges and chocolate coins hidden in the hay bales. The kids also enjoyed the animal farm as well as pretending they were ‘real’ cowboys by practising their shooting skills and watching a whip cracking demonstration by friends of the birthday boy.
The entire party was a huge success with Leanne Stamatellos capturing the day perfectly in her photographs.
