Ice Cream Party {girl’s birthday}

Just Call Me Martha

This adorable ice cream party was created by Leoni of Just Call Me Martha for her gorgeous daughter Annike! With divine ice cream themed treats and a beautiful pastel palette, this party was pretty as a picture.

Milkshakes

How yummy do these mini strawberry milkshakes look!?  Sprinkle-topped, white chocolate rims making them look extra tempting!

Party details & inspiration as described by Leoni of Just Call Me Martha:

“The ice cream party inspiration came after I was asked to make an “ice cream” cake for one of the designers at Kikki K who created the new Sundae collection and I fell in love with all the gorgeous Spring pastel colours http://www.kikki-k.com/shop/category/collection/kids-stationery-sundae/ . Immediately my head was spinning with ideas. I knew Annike, my daughter, loved ice cream and that we would have real ice cream at the party as well as ice cream related activities (they made ice cream out of fabric, cotton wool and paint on mini canvases).

Some of the food items we had was choc pops, ice cream pops, ice cream cookies, ice cream sundae cupcakes, mini strawberry mousse, mini milkshakes, mini popcorn served in Robert Gordon striped ice cream cups, fruit cones and macarons. The cake was a 2 tier lemon and raspberry buttercake filled with raspberry buttercream, the ice cream topper inspired by the Sundae collection.

Each child went home with a party box filled with ice cream pencil, ice cream note pad, icy pole eraser, bag of ice cream lollies and icy pole soapcicle.”

To stand centre stage on the dessert buffet was this perfectly made lemon and raspberry buttercake in co-ordinating colours finished with a cherry on top!  What a simply gorgeous party with supplies from some of our favourite party companies.  We hope this party inspires you to create your very own ice-cream party for your little girl too.
