A whimsical Rainbow Rain Shower Party for a fun girl’s birthday celebration sent to us by Suzanne, a party stylist and planner for Fanciful Events. With every colour of the rainbow in a vibrant display of all things sweet, this is definitely a theme to put smiles on little faces. The lovely birthday girl was also treated to a custom designed dress to co-ordinate with her party!
Party Details as described by Suzanne of Fanciful Events:
“I decided to do the April Showers bring May flowers theme and make it into more of a rain shower theme. I decided to go with the bright colors of the rainbow and make it playful and very whimsical! I hung umbrellas from the ceiling and made rain drops in rainbow colors and just tried to play along with the shower feel of the theme. I loved doing this theme because it really made me think creatively and try to make it look like a different rain shower theme as well as a rainbow theme!
For desserts I had fondant toppers made in beautiful umbrellas, rain boots, rain drops in the beautiful rainbow colors as well as an amazing rainbow cake topper for the cake. I wanted the dessert table to have a rainbow hued theme, so I had cake balls that were in rainbow colors, as well as macaroons, rice krispie treats, and even had rainbow water and rainbow candy melts. I had cake pops made that would would match our rain shower theme and displayed them inside some rain boots.
The decor I tried to keep simple but whimsical and very playful. For a backdrop I decided to use my vintage windows and added a rain curtain behind it and then made sparkly cloud that I attached to the windows. There were umbrellas in rainbows colors and I had also made rainbow rain drops that were hung from the ceiling.”
