Vintage Bar Mitzvah {The Sebel Pier 1}

elegant table setting

Take a look at this vintage/old world themed Bar Mitzvah styled by Yael of Decor by Yael and held in the HarbourWatch Room at The Sebel Pier 1, Sydney. With the children’s tables adorned with fun vintage props and tall vases used as hat stands & the adults tables with a more sophisticated style using vintage candelabras and antique props this was definitely a fun & very lavish Bar Mitzvah celebration!

Event Details as described by Yael of Decor by Yael:

“The brief for this Bar Mitzvah was vintage old world with an emphasis on sophistication. The event was held at the Sebel Pier 1. Adults tables were individually set with crystal candelabra, liquid silver vases overflowing with rose petals, on alternate tables were vintage props such as brass horns and antique fans which I incorporated into my burgundy floralscapes… crystal glassware and under plates were used to highlight the old world theme.

The kids tables were more fun and frivolous. Each chair cover had a polka dot bowtie at the back bringing in the vintage look and feel with fun hats placed on chandeliers. I sourced vintage props and old books to include on my tablescapes. Large scale props were placed around the room creating fun stations for the kids, photo booths, wagons and old fashioned trunks stuffed with vintage dress up hats. A yummy retro lolly bar with toffee apples and colourful candy were fun a addition to the room.”
