Take a look at this fun train party submitted to us by Val Gent which she created for her son’s 4th Birthday! With great use of Spaceships & Laserbeams’ Vintage Train printables, Val created a brightly themed party filled with lots of fun ideas!

Event Details as described by Val Gent:
“My son Will recently turned 4 and he has loved everything about trains for the last 12 months. A year ago, he was fascinated by the “Wiggles” ‘Captain Feathersword Pirate’ so we had a pirate party for his 3rd birthday which Spaceships and Laserbeams featured.
So when planning his train party this year, I knew exactly which printables I just loved and Stephanie from Spaceships and Laserbeams was more than happy to help me out. I love baking so everything on the dessert table was made by me including the cake and Gordan Train topper. Learning to sew a ruffle tablecloth was a definite challenge for me (the blue ruffle is stitched on with velcro so I can change the middle ruffle for future parties). With the help of an amazing friend and some frantic sewing in the last week, our tablecloth was finished and I think it looked really pretty on the table. The kids party table was quite big (to fit 24 children) but I thought the blue and green colours really featured the vintage train printables.”

“The kids all got a Thomas train mini book, with a choo choo train chocolate bar, a train whistle and some train bubbles. They loved the cardboard train that my husband made and as parents, we got some gorgeous photos (the photo I have included is one of my son wearing an iron-on transfer t-shirt I made for him and a matching one for his younger brother). The games were of course train related including a ‘kid’s train congo line’ - we pinned paper plates to their shirts, gave the “train driver” a train hat and whistle, with some Thomas train music on, they were off! (see photo). The kids loved lining up at the Railroad gate while they waited (and I called out ‘all aboard’)… it was a hoot seeing their faces!” -Val
